Pros

Internally you work with some of the smartest people you will ever encounter. A great deal of responsibility right off the bat.

Cons

More time in the technical system than advertised on Epic's website or during interviews. Major turnover leading to loss of knowledge due to weak documentation and establishes processes.

Pros

Epic gives you a lot of responsibility right off the bat. There are perks with travelling. Very nice campus, at most two people per office.

Cons

Travel can take a toll, not enough training. You don't decide what application you are, so you may not have the clinical background for it.

Pros

I learned the software which will give me a leg up in medical school

Cons

Zero work-life balance, your experience depends entirely upon your management, the environment at Epic is so competitive that your supposed "mentors" will throw you under the bus in order to appear better
