Disconnected management. Leadership changes over the past several years have not improved the company. Management will claim that people are problems identifiers, not problem solvers, despite ignoring suggestions for improvement because they don’t fit the management ideals. However, the original issues remain with no path forward. Focus on physical time at the office as a measure of effort, not actual results or willingness to work remotely as needed to get the job done. Claims to be a family company, but leaving to make sure you can get to your child before day care closes is looked down upon. Requests for guidance on how to make an impact go unanswered, which makes people less willing to look for improvement opportunities
