Way too under staffed!! Most days you come in you have 19 patients and on a good day you have 13. It's way too many patients to actually provide adequate care. Then it's always our fault and pressuring us to meet industry standards on the lowest of staffing numbers. The nurses are also very short handed with 8 patients some days. The equipment is very old and outdated, and they are only giving anything new to one of the newly built wings on a campus in another part of the city. They put very little money into each floor. The overall look and quality doesn't feel very advanced as they would like for you to believe. The pay isn't that great I get paid less than a unit clerk who has absolutely no formal training for their job, and received no experience pay.

Poor management. No one knows who is in charge.
