Pros

- There are some incredibly kind, thoughtful, talented, and hardworking people at Everlywell. - Flexibility to work from home is nice - Great mission

Cons

- Unlimited PTO is only a nice perk if you have a manager who doesn’t discourage you from taking it. - Pay is way below market. Pay. Your. Employees. Fairly. Many have left for this reason. Annual raises are laughable. Even for managers who had been there for years, annual raises were 2%. Given inflation and the current cost of living, that is just not acceptable any more and leaves employees with no choice but to seek other opportunities that pay fairly. - This is an incredibly high turnover culture. Everly health has become a constant revolving door, leaving many teams understaffed and scrambling to cover the roles of others without promoting internally or providing additional compensation. Especially now with the hiring freeze and jobs not being backfilled, everyone is underwater - underpaid and overworked. This should be a huge red flag that people are not happy. - So much ambiguity for a company that’s not even a small startup anymore. Be prepared for launches to have constantly moving launch dates and expectations to be painfully unclear. - This is not a great place if you’re looking for career development. It depends on your team, but promotions and career development paths seem few and far between. - Burnout is through the roof. Be prepared for little to no work life balance. Late night urgent tasks and weekend slack messages are not out of the norm. - Micromanaging has gotten out of control. Seriously. Trust the people you hire and let them do their jobs.

Pros

None. Stay away from EW. Far far away.

Cons

This is the most toxic environment I've seen. Inexperienced, incompetent and defensive leadership building a culture of fear.

Greetings. I am really saddened to read your review. I started this company to disrupt an industry and help people, which can’t be done without making Everlywell a great place to work. According to our employees, your experience is not indicative of life at Everlywell. We are still a small enough organization that I know every employee personally, and I am hurt that you did not feel comfortable letting me or the People team know we had work to do. I’d love to change that, even though your employment has passed. We conduct 2x per year anonymous employee feedback surveys along with other programs that show that the vast majority of our employees would strongly recommend Everlywell as a place to work. Our latest 2020 CultureAmp anonymous survey had 75% of respondents giving us the highest rating recommending us as a great place to work, and 95% of respondents saying they are “proud to work for Everlywell” -- despite the open acknowledgement that workload has certainly increased amidst the pandemic as we ramp to match our growth with resources. We are most certainly not perfect and constructive feedback is helpful since it provides us the opportunity to be better. If you have any additional feedback, we'd love to hear it - you can always reach out at people@everlywell.com. I recently hired our first executive-level people leader who has experience rapidly scaling organizations with amazing award-winning cultures. As we double our company size and well surpass $100M in sales this year (plus try to do this all remotely!), we need a people leader who can help our managers and teams scale effectively. With that hire, we are also investing in building a world-class talent function along with ramping up our support of managers with training and coaching. We’ve also hired 30 people in the last two months and have a significant number of job openings to help us manage our rapid growth. I’d personally love to hear from you directly on how we could have made your experience better. I’d truly value knowing how we could have served you better while employed with us. I hope you’ll use this opportunity to reach out and have a conversation directly with me. Best, Julia

Pros

Work from home. That’s about it

Cons

This company is a sinking ship… don’t be Jack from Titanic and hold onto the door thinking you will survive. Everly health will sink and take you down with them…. Or you will freeze to death in the waters the ship spits you out in after it plunges to the bottom. .
