Pros

Movement because they can’t retain.

Cons

Expected to be on call 24/7 while simultaneously being micro managed yet never seeing a supervisor. Being the best is simply being the prettiest pig in the sty with this company. You are left to sink or swim. Dead body, handle it. Drugs, just wear gloves and clean it. Mold, cover it up. Shootings, robberies, stolen vehicles, fires, stalkers, death threats? You’ll never see a supervisor. You better figure out how to handle it and do it properly or it falls on you. You will be terminated for not following the protocol from that one video you had to watch at the beginning of the year. You know, the one that was between the 80 other classes you had to take that one week while working 80 hours and your bosses breathing down your neck to make sure your entire team gets 500 hours of classes done in their allotted 20 hours with no overtime, get those Medallia surveys, and inspect every single room that week or you’d be written up… what?! You didn’t retain that information?! You are nothing but a number. You are not valued, your work and dedication is not valued. You never will be. Come to terms with it and act your wage. Speaking of wage, get used to it. Your bogus increase of 2% annually will forever be stuck. You can be a top manager with a stellar resume in this company and they will not give raises outside of the annual and certainly not more. New hires who have 0 experience/ tenure make more starting. Or even more insulting, the people you have trained and groomed for management positions are offered more than you! They then have the audacity to ask you to train your new supervisors who also change annually because they can not retain anyone. Run. Have more respect for yourself. You are better than this.

Pros

Nothing. You will be lucky to make it out alive.

Cons

I have witnessed robberies, one armed, been followed home by strung out guests, been screamed at by drunks, etc. This hotel chain caters to the absolute lowest of the low of society. Your managers will treat you like garbage. If you show any hospitality knowledge, your assistant manager will take it as a threat and treat you like less than a human. It's not a "front desk" job. They force you to do laundry, clean the public toilets, clean all the public areas in addition to checking in 15 people into sub par and disgusting rooms per day.
