Pros

There are alot of events to try and get everyone to socialize - kickball, paintball, segway tour, museum visits, etc. Unfortunately these aren't really that "fun" because if your behavior deviates in the slightest from what the professional expectation is, you are judged and ostracized, akin to a elitist fraternity. Some of the work can be interesting if you enjoy programming with SQL.

Cons

There is absolutely no appreciation for people or ideas that don't fit their "vanilla" (literally and figuratively) culture. If you value individuality and creative thought, this is not the place for you. At the DC office, people force a happy face and put on a facade of over-joyousness. Most people are not down-to-earth and genuine in the slightest.

Pros

A steady paycheck; no gaps on your resume (unless you quit because you can’t take it anymore)

Cons

Where to start? All be bad reviews on this site are spot on and the norm. It’s a widely known thing that employees are asked to write good reviews of this company. Favoritism, racism, sexism, unprofessionalism, toxic culture are the MO. That is not the worst of it. You are lucky if you don’t get screwed out of your bonus. The way their bonus structure works, certain projects allow you to work 20-30 hours weeks and bill 50 hours hence earn a considerable amount in bonus. Other projects require you to work 60-70 hours and bill 10. Guess who gets picked for what projects and who gets staffed on the latter? (If it’s still not clear, see above). Employee lawsuits are the normal cost of doing business at this company. Save yourself the career suicide and go elsewhere… anywhere but here.

Pros

Flexible schedule Decent benefits Large and well known firm Strong practice leaders

Cons

Unachievable DEI metrics Obvious favoritism within Talent Acquisition leadership Unexplainable reasoning for lack of promotion after 3 years of continued success Pointless projects that you must volunteer for if you want to be recognized and potentially granted a raise Unable to recruit top talent because only focus/desire of leadership is diversity hiring Smoke and mirrors
