Pros

FanDuel is awesome with their WFH policy. It makes working my second job so much more easier. I join daily standups and other unnecessary meetings and rarely say anything. ChatGPT helps me code everything quickly and none of my managers have ever even noticed 90% of my code is AI generated. lol. 5-star company. Highly recommend taking their money for free.

Cons

PO’s like to schedule a lot of meetings but I usually decline them or pretend to be sick or have a doctor’s appointment so I can work on my other job (which actually requires me to be on Teams video). Plus, it pays a lot more. Spoiler alert: it’s Draft Kings.

Pros

- FD provided me a good overall experience. I felt rewarded for my hard work especially cause i started with the company in a part time and I was rewarded for my work and eventually worked my way to a full-time and managing role. - their benefits and worklife balance was great

Cons

- my department was suddenly laid off in July without much notice. There was some writing on the wall something like this could happen but it was shocking. It was tough not to feel a little bitter about how it ending as layoffs have been happening like this in all industries. I would still recommend working here especially since I put in five years there but the ending was tough to take etc.

Pros

Great environment if you enjoying in a place with little to no guidance. However, just like everywhere else you will only go as far as far as your manager wants you to go. People leave bad managers not jobs.

Cons

No training at all and you get zero recognition unless you're part of the in crowd. People who play the "game" will receive praise for their work. However when you work with them you quickly realize that they get praised because they're like not because of the good work that management claims they do. This place is nothing but the typical corporate snake pit. Nonetheless it's a good brand for the resume so just make sure you never get too comfortable.
