Pros

If you are looking for above minimum average pay, stress filled days, micromanagement, great benefits package, unlimited PTO that you can rarely take advantage of, and the constant bait and switch, this is a job for you!

Cons

Scheduling. High turnover rate. Advertised room for growth, but that is far from the truth. This company is supposed to be DE&I, but somehow, non-POC are promoted within the company at a higher rate than POC. When referring to diversity, they are referring to the 200 lower leveled POC agents. Micromanaged.

Pros

- WFH - Company-wide commitment to diversity

Cons

Customer Operations: - There is absolutely no communication between management and the Agents on the frontline; used to have quarterly department-specific Town Halls but they don't happen anymore despite all of the changes that have been implemented. - Management is very toxic. The good managers have checked out, leaving the ones who shouldn't be running everything with more responsibility. FanDuel as a whole: - CEO seems more committed to looking important to employees than anything else. Company-wide Town Halls have turned into TV shows with actual FanDuel commercials playing in between guest speakers, its really cult-y. - Someone needs to say it: having a recovering Gambling Addict spear-heading our Responsible Gaming messaging is very tone deaf. When's the last time you saw a recovering alcoholic in liquor advertisements?

An organizational mess

Pros

- Most of the people happen to be nice and fun to work with - The office is nice too, and in another few years the rooftop deck might be accessible

Cons

- If you're looking for stability and job security, stay far away, this is as volatile of a business as I've ever come across (multiple people laid off after starting less than 6 months prior) - Nonexistent onboarding process after hire lots of ambiguity about what my roles/responsibilities would be - Often times neglected immediately after start date, made it very difficult to learn and grow into an integral member of the team and didn't feel empowered in any way - Extreme cynicism and negativity amongst majority of employees that I didn't buy into at first, but realized over time that those people knew exactly what they were talking about - Many more sayers than there are doers - Too many cooks in the kitchen - No defined company-wide mission, lots of different agendas competing against one another for attention - So many pointless and obstructive meetings that produce nothing but a waste of time and resources
