Pros

Very talented people working there. My coworkers and manager were all people I got along with.

Cons

They are continuing to deny themselves their origins of being a tech company. They are trying to be a content company and it's not working well for them. Don't expect to move up at Fandango. They don't promote often or ever.

Pros

Great engineering team; there is a ton of talent here.

Cons

Paul Yanover came in, fired a bunch of people, and replaced them with his buddies. He also started getting rid of things that made Fandango a fun place to work so he could hide the fact that his failed projects cost the company a lot of money.

Pros

I've been working here for almost two years as a full time employee. Great location, good setup. Catered lunch twice a week and a fully stocked kitchen. This is a generally a fun place to work. Because a lot of work is around opening weekends, there is a bit of a treadmill feeling to the daily grind. I guess the company has been through some changes but I've only been here for a year and a half and I think the change that has happened is nothing like the changes that are going to happen. There are a lot of people who don't seem to understand that just delivering movie tickets isn't enough any more.

Cons

It's hard to focus on customers sometimes because the studios are so demanding. There are a lot of problems with old technology and people do a lot of work they shouldn't have to. it often feels like we do things just to make someone happy, rather than a focussed business result or goal.
