Great benefits, nice cafeteria, some of the staff are nice.

Cons

Favoritism. You will only be promoted if you do everything the upper management wants you to do. You are unable to have your own opinions. An extreme lack of diversity. Down hill after former CEO (Bill) left.

Great team members were the best part of the job.

Cons

Farm Credit started as a cooperative to secure credit for farmers when banks would not lend to rural agriculture customers; now they turn customers away and send them to banks when credit quality is not what they want. Very numbers focused atmosphere vs customer focused, many underwriters have never stepped foot on a farm, consumer and retail teams are constantly arguing about which direction customer should go.

Salary is below competitive. Leadership is top heavy (in some departments). Not a lot of room for promotions unless you're jumping between departments.
