Pros

Everyone is friendly, willing to help and focused on customer experience (internal and external customers). Benefits are good, culture is mostly employee focused and advancement opportunities are there. Lot of good trainings and classes online Company’s mission and values are clear and financial outlook is positive

Cons

Huge lack of addressing diversity and inclusion or taking steps towards improving it. Some areas feel like the boys club, where leaders are leaders because they were good at their jobs but lack leadership skills and make decisions without their team’s input. Hybrid environment- employees must work in the office 3days a week (even if you stay at your desk all day doing your job, being at the office is a must) Some departments show favoritism- some tenured employees are given more opportunities for development than others (conferences, projects..)

Great Company Needs Some Work

Pros

I can't say enough positive things about my experience with FCMA. They have a fun, collaborative environment, and they really care about their employees. They did a lot to support people during the pandemic. From $500 stipends to extra days off, they really did a lot to support people during a challenging time.

Cons

It feels as if it is stuck in the past a little bit. It can be a bit of a boys' club especially in upper management. Also, they aren't supportive of people working from home full time even though they allowed it during the pandemic. It is more about filling the building the renovated before the pandemic than allowing good people to continue their jobs from their home. They will, have, and are losing a lot of good talent that way.

Pros

Lots of opportunity and support for health, wellness and growth such as an education stipend, gym/exercise stipend, lots of sick time and paternity / maternity leave.

Cons

you will be on the phone taking calls and some travel is involved in this job. The travel is usually to very rural locations and can be as needed.
