Pros

Good people to work with. Floating holidays. Not a boring job by any means.

Cons

Depending on who the center manager is, women don't make as much as men; even if the women are doing the same amount of work as (or more than) the men. Micro management runs rampant, and is encouraged in this company. The only thing that matters is revenue. Wages are atrocious if you're not an LC or higher. But watch out...a new person just walking in off the street will be paid a higher hourly wage than someone who has been with the company for a few years. Work/life balance is mediocre at best. Days off are split to accommodate "the needs of the business." But managers, assistant managers, and LC's still get their two days off in a row. If you call in sick, be prepared to receive a guilt trip and doubts of your truthfulness regardless of how little you ever call in; but that could just be center specific.

Pros

Competitive hourly wages, opportunity to move up within the company, tuition reimbursement, decent benefits (but only for full time employees)

Cons

They send out an image of caring about their employees and customers but they are only about profit (no matter the cost). They tell you one thing about availability and when you will be working and then schedule you for whatever THEY want. They also train on the job but because they run on the minimum number of people possible you are thrown into the fire right away and many people spend so much time just trying to stay caught up with stressful deadlines that they don't actually learn everything they need. The people who have been with the company for years usually want to teach new people but don't have the time because there are constantly projects that are given crazy due times so they simply can't help like they want to. I actually stepped down from a higher position because of the lack of ethics and high pressure.
