Pros

Minor care for employees. Free lunch other. Some surrounding managers are polite and respect Ferrara values except A/R supervisor need working on

Cons

A/R dept behind on work, short staff need help. supervisor don't know anything or take responsibility for actions. No one wants to be responsible. Department always loud, playing, supervisor included, makes obnoxious sounds, talks about other coworkers out loud very unprofessional environment . Management should not indulge in activities with the employees talking and playing all day.

Pros

There are some really good people that still work there. People try to help each other as much as they can and the work challenges you to be better. The office is really nice and we have transitioned to a 3 day in the office and 2 at home which is a nice balance. Great place if you live to work.

Cons

The culture is no longer the same. There are a lot of people that are burned out from all of the work and the very tight deadlines. They don't adequately staff and the employees must get the work done no matter how long it takes which negatively impacts work life balance. There is no support structure, you simply have to figure out how you get things done with little to no support and you better hope you are able to make it happen otherwise you will get viewed as an under performer. Upper management is constantly putting you in a position to fail and they don't recognize their shortcomings. It's some how always your fault. No accountability. The mood in the office has started to become toxic. The energy people use to have is pretty much gone and people are really burned out and just trying to get work done and leave. It used to be a really great place to work and collaborate with other employees. The company recognizes the burn out because they have all these seminars about dealing with burn out but they don't do anything to change. They keep applying the pressure and a lot of people are leaving.

We appreciate you taking the time to share this thoughtful review. Fostering a workplace where team members feel supported and have opportunities to grow their careers are fundamental aspects of our culture, but overworking employees and burnout are not intended to be part of this. We take these concerns seriously and are continuously working behind the scenes to resolve this matter. As Ferrara expands domestically and internationally, we recognize workloads may fluctuate and increase individual responsibilities as a result. We encourage employees, including yourself, to communicate stressful situations directly with their managers so they can make our leadership teams aware. Please reach out to FerraraReviews@ferrarausa.com with any further feedback to consider as we adapt and innovate best practices.

Avoid unless you start with an exit plan

Pros

Offers are pretty good, people are great for the most part. Brand new cool office downtown with lots of happy hours etc (awesome during non COVID). Lack of role structure means you can get experience in areas you might not be able to in more structured companies (which could also be a con)

Cons

This place is a joke. Constant turnover. Pay increases are TINY, especially with promotions. Company constantly tripping over themselves - lack of clarity in what roles do/ who owns what, and management isn't clear on priorities/strategy. Same issues come up again and again. Management hasn't dealt with any of the glaring issues this company has, and it shows quarter after quarter. Would not recommend unless you have an exit plan before you even accept the position.
