Pros

I have enjoyed my time working at First Command. I have learned a lot about the company as well as the products we provide. Through my work with clients, I have been able to expand my knowledge of our company and how to best serve our clients. I feel that I have been equipped by the company to provide great quality services. I also have seen my team and regional office show their appreciation of the work that I have done. My team has lifted me up and helped me grow as a person as well as an employee.

Cons

The only downside I can think of is that as a remote worker, I don't always get to be a part of the events my office puts on. However, in this season, this format is what best serves my family and me.

It is like a small family working here. They are great. Lots of different opportunities to fit a variety of personalities and career potentials. And I love that they employ spouses of active-duty military as well as a lot of military retirees.

Cons

You have to be self-motivated to be a good fit.
