Great people and an honorable purpose

Pros

Values. The organization cares for its people and its mission of helping military service members. I feel rewarded for contributing my honest thoughts and ideas. I would not have lasted a year if the leadership and coworkers were the opposite.

Cons

The company is growing and with that working space issues can arise. Depending on your department, if you have a hard time working in a group atmosphere with the noise and distractions that it brings, it can be a minor downside.

It's easy to feel good about what we do - coaching those that serve in their pursuit of financial security. We tend to attract people because of our mission, which results in a strong culture and alignment with our goals. We have one of the strongest retirement benefits in the industry as an ESOP.

Cons

The pace of change is high right now as we work to accelerate our transformation. Prioritizing our resources has been challenging, as it's hard to say no, and we tend to want to do everything.
