Not what it seems

Pros

People who have been there for a long time and have established relationships love the place and seem happy.

Cons

Extremely hard for new people to get “in” with the legacy employees. Same sales senior leaders that have been there forever, like to tell you “what to do” not “how to do it.” Lots of broken promises to the sales team.

Thank you for your feedback. It is always disappointing to hear about poor experiences at Flexera. As we are in the process of planning for 2024 and assessing territories and sales strategy, I will share your sentiments with our COO. The Sales team is critical to our success, and ensuring new team members are set up to achieve targets and win is a priority. Thanks for sharing your experience, and best of luck in your next endeavor.

Pros

Some people are nice, that's about it

Cons

Laid off a bunch of people around Covid time, froze hiring/promotions/bonuses, yet paid bonuses for managers and promoted them. Constant reshuffling of people No one has any real vision They treat people like numbers Managers on top of managers on top of managers. There are dozens that don't do anything, but somehow don't get laid off.

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts. COVID did impact a small proportion of employees, as it did for most companies globally. Regarding bonuses - anyone entitled to a bonus was paid regardless of the level of Management. We also quickly reinstated promotions and hiring key roles. In terms of Management tiers, we have no more than 4-5 layers from CEO to frontline team members on average. We are proud of Flexera and aren't trying to be ServiceNow. ServiceNow is a great company, and so are we. Finally, we have made significant changes to our Senior leadership team over the past two years, and we are committed to changing and evolving based on changes in technology and the market. We would love any insight on where we may be unaware regarding specific Managers. Feel free to reach out via email to anyone on the People team to help us understand more. Wishing you all the best at your next engagement.

Burnout Culture, much better options elsewhere

Pros

You will learn skills from all the extra work. Free meals when you go into the office. Plentiful parking.

Cons

Burnout culture, they don't care to fully staff teams so you will be overworked. Expect to work many nights and weekends and even holidays despite "flexible" hours. Remote or Hybrid but managers constantly threaten to force teams back into office full time Below average salary, almost nonexistent merit increases, no bonuses. 401k match is lowest I've seen in any company

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. It is always disappointing when someone has such a poor experience, as we take our culture and treatment of team members seriously. We offer a flexible workplace and have been vocal and candid about our commitment to a hybrid workplace. We believe our total rewards package is competitive, and we assess annually where we have opportunities to improve. Regarding merit, we have given increases annually, and our % allocations align with the tech market. We do have a pay-for-performance philosophy which we don't apologize for. So not all merit dollars are distributed equally. All the best in your next role.
