Pros

Great people to work with, when I was part time they worked around my schedule, very innovative company and great to be a part of. Have been enjoying working with them since day one.

Cons

I don't have any real downsides since I started with Focal Systems, great company to work with.

Pros

I worked at Focal right before COVID. I truly loved this company. Worked closely with the CEO and the C-Suite. Very collaborative and tight nit team. Lots to be done and they work really hard. They would not ask you to do something they wouldnt do.

Cons

Its a start up, so process is not there yet. Needs to get there. It is just forming.

- Great team of ML engineers, very smart people. - Get to own a lot of projects and work on difficult problems.

Cons

- Extremely poor work/life balance. Toxic culture and environment. - Unrealistic expectations with projects and workload. - Very poor onboarding and training. - Lack of understanding point of view and perspective with issues, just mainly want to hear good news. - Turnover is noticeably high.
