Pros

From the interview process onward, it was clear that Foley is made up of genuinely good people. Everyone I’ve interacted with has been kind, transparent, responsive, and considerate, and that has held true as I’ve continued meeting more teams across the company. There’s a strong culture of collaboration, helpfulness, and hard work. Leadership has also been a highlight. My direct leaders are supportive and engaged, and even at the senior leadership level, there seems to be a real commitment to building a product that truly serves customers’ needs. That alignment around the customer is noticeable and appreciated. There is also an unlimited PTO policy in place, which offers flexibility and supports work-life balance when used appropriately. This is not a boring place to work—there’s a lot happening, and for the right person, that creates opportunities to learn quickly, contribute meaningfully, and be part of ongoing improvements.

Cons

There is currently a fair amount of operational complexity and inconsistency. Teams are often working across multiple systems, some processes feel outdated, and there are several new initiatives happening at once, which can make day-to-day work feel chaotic. Cross-functional workflows—particularly between Customer Success, Ops, Finance, and Tech—can be challenging. Not due to lack of effort or willingness to help, but because many teams appear stretched thin and there aren’t always clear or efficient processes in place to help CSMs resolve customer-facing issues. Compensation is somewhat below market compared to many SaaS companies, not terrible by any means but definitely on the lower end. The insurance benefits are decent but could be more competitive. I've heard talks of the insurance offering being re-evaluated/improved so that's something to look forward to. That said, many of these challenges feel like growing pains rather than long-term issues, and there is active work underway to address them.

Pros

It’s a truly exciting place to work, with meaningful positive change and a strong sense of momentum across the company. The people are fantastic to work with. Despite being largely remote, leadership is intentional about fostering connection and inclusion. Communication is strong for a remote environment, and there’s clear structure around feedback, one-on-ones, and continuous learning. The product is industry-leading, and you’ll gain valuable knowledge about the product, the space, and corporate work overall.

Cons

Pros

Remote work, which won't exist in a year from now.

Cons

Since the introduction of new executive leadership, morale across the Sales and BDR organizations has declined significantly, and quota attainment has become the exception rather than the norm. A contributing factor has been the current CRO, under whose leadership previously effective processes were dismantled and continuity was disrupted. Because all Sales and BDR roles ultimately report into this structure, new hires are impacted immediately, with no practical insulation from broader leadership and cultural issues. At the executive level, Sales, Growth, and Revenue leadership lack alignment and direction. Decision making is inconsistent, favoritism is apparent, and there is no clear strategy for effectively supporting or scaling the sales team. The result is constant confusion, poor execution, and widespread burnout. Compensation remains below market relative to expectations, OTE attainment is limited to a small minority, and the product’s non-essential positioning makes earnings inconsistent. Based on observed attrition and behavior, nearly the entire corporate sales team is actively exploring new opportunities, reflecting broader issues with morale, trust, and retention. The CEO appears capable and well intentioned; however, the current go-to-market leadership approach has resulted in poor execution, reduced accountability, and widespread disengagement. Candidates should carefully evaluate these systemic risks before considering a Sales or BDR role.
