Pros

The benefits are outstanding. The pay is another good aspect of the job, but you may have to fight to get the pay you really deserve.

Cons

Having to deal with too many tasks for one position. The Customer Service & Sales Manager position is one of the toughest jobs to do at Food Lion. Not only must you run an efficient front end, but you must also be the MOD (Manager-on-Duty) when the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager are unavailable.

Pros

Part-time employees are eligible for a week's paid vacation after 500 hours of service. Bonus for full-time and part-time employees is a nice incentive at the end of the year. After a year of service, part-time employees are eligible for a paid holidays.

Cons

Management expects employees to put work first at all times. Front-end scheduling is not consistent and one week you could have 40+ hours, the next you could have none.
