The issue at Foodtec stems from the CEO. He creates an extremely hostile work environment, at the end of the day he would target someone and curse them out, belittle them, make them feel stupid and incompetent in front of coworkers, often causing tears or employees walking out. Foul and offensive language. The work load and assignment deadlines were beyond unrealistic for any individual employee or department. Constantly falling behind, neglecting customers and passing around complaint calls until customers were enraged. I was often yelled at by dissatisfied customers over the phone and rightfully so, issues or requests would be reported and failed to gain attention for weeks at times.
Terrible work/life balance
No company culture, outings or team building, clock in, work, clock out.
All employees completely overworked, over stressed and underpaid.
Consistently dissatisfied, angry and confused customers, which is a shame as most employees truly do their best to excel and meet as many customer needs as possible.
Understaffed.
No positive reinforcement whatsoever. Scare tactics and yelling
Everything is tracked, if you go on a bathroom break, "time idle" shows on your computer and is visible to your manager.
Forget lunch breaks and vacation, you gain a vacation day for every month already worked.
Bare minimum paid holidays, yet the office in Greece gets days off for all of their holidays.
No upward mobility, you will be promised the world in your interview, you are there to fill a space for as long as you can tolerate it.
The list goes on
