Pros

- I love my team and the people I work with. I'm proud to work with smart people who care about their work and each other. - My leadership seems to care about me personally and prioritizes my career development. I've been given several opportunities to expand my knowledge and scope via work I find interesting and challenging. - The products are excellent and our customers love them. - I've seen leaders make challenging but smart decisions that have resulted in profitability and strong market positioning. - Perks are great - I love the catered lunches, the dog friendly office and the unlimited 3d printing (recently printed a space suit for my niece's costume)!

Cons

- The performance bar is the highest of any company I've worked at, which I'm proud of. However, I understand it can be daunting and tiring if you're not excited about the work.

Pros

Formlabs is setting the pace in an exciting industry, with inspiring customers spanning myriad industries, award-winning products, and a fun, international culture. Given the nature of the product and industry, Formlabs draws a much more diverse employee base than typical tech companies - I met some amazing people working there. The company has historically done a great job fostering cross-department collaboration and community, which let me get to know people in different areas with different backgrounds. Like any early-stage company, there is a lot of work to do, but I think it is an excellent environment for driven people who are inspired by the company's mission to do really interesting work and see an impact. I have recommended Formlabs to several people and will continue to do so!

Cons

Formlabs is a growth-oriented company in a competitive industry - as such, the pace can be challenging at times, and tradeoffs are made trying to balance long-term company success with short-term needs. If you are looking to maximize short-term financial goals (meaning get the highest base salary) or work in a neatly defined, low-stress, structured job, Formlabs may not be the best place for you. But if you want to build or advance your career working alongside bright, driven colleagues with inspiring customers, I think Formlabs is a good option.

Pros

Fast growing company, great products that are loved by customers. High level of diversity and inclusion, many different nationalities and languages/culture in the office. Beautiful office in the center of Budapest, very cool amenities. Compensation is good for Services in Budapest.

Cons

Fast-pace change, hard to keep up sometimes Many process still in their infancy. We try sometimes to build the plane as we fly it.
