Pros

The good day are behind us, let's not dwell in the past

Cons

The financial outlook of this company is desperate and the CEO is becoming more unbearable as he comes to terms with that. If you are interviewing, every red flag that hits you - believe them

Pros

Physicians and nurses are friendly and easy to work with.

Cons

Unpaid and overworked. A lot of turnover because burn out is high so you won't work alongside experienced MA's you can learn from. You can make much more as a medical assistant at other similar clinics like one medical, carbon health and kindbody.

Pros

I have never worked at a company where everyone - from assistants to managers to leadership and everyone in between - wholeheartedly believed in the company's mission before working for Forward. By aligning incentives properly - whereby providing great healthcare and keeping our members in the best health possible leads to our company's success - we can all work hard knowing that what we're doing is in the best interests for all involved. Everyone is supportive, voices are ensured to be heard, and teams work together to solve the complex issue that is healthcare. As a Primary Care Physician, it can often be difficult balancing what's right for the patient and what's best for RVUs/billing - we often lose sight of this as we progress through our careers and end up doing what we've done without a second thought. Working for Forward has allowed for self-reflection and getting back to the reasons we all got into medicine to begin with - how to best help and provide care to people independent of billing given our monthly subscription model. How often in a lifetime do you get the chance to fundamentally change healthcare into something that we all deserve?

Cons

Revolutionizing healthcare is difficult and I'll be the first to say that there is a lot that still needs to be done to get to where we want to be. In order to reach our mission goals, we had to start from the ground up which meant developing a lot of things on our own as most legacy healthcare tools/EMRs are tied to billing which makes it difficult to separate the two. The growing pains are real but with every misstep, we learn and overall, things have continued to improve with each subsequent year that I've worked at Forward as the CEO literally looks at every single piece of Feedback that is filed.
