Pros

-super supportive team where everyone is very hardworking and intelligent -you have lots of ownership! that being said, you're often just putting out burning fires as opposed to building long-term solutions

Cons

-often feels like Forward is built upon a foundation of fear. the performance standards are very high and the company is always looking for ways to cut COGS. thus, people get fired at random times for being "a bad fit" or "not competent" and this is often comes as a surprise (i.e. no pip or warning or anything). this means that the "hardworking" nature of individuals at the company is often built out of fear of being let go at any given moment--which is pretty toxic. -notorious for conducting layoffs whenever the company starts to experience any sort of financial stress (a lot of instability with this job) -the product itself is not really great. a lot of current employees have even said that they wouldn't use the product because of all the bugs and its cost to value ratio. -experienced a huge round of layoffs recently that really caused the company to take a huge culture hit. a lot of the original pros surrounding the awesome culture at Forward no longer applies -felt like the company cared more about saving money and generating revenue than actually helping patients

Pros

Used to have a good team.

Cons

Changed process for assigning visits from volunteer scribes (with no extra pay) assigning visits through queues to A BOT ASSIGNING YOU AS NEEDED. NO input from scribes and a good majority of the staff will dislike you. This is because with the installation of the bot, this is made it INCREDIBLY EASY TO SKIP WORK and still get paid from it. Despite this obvious concern from the scribe team, management ignored us and added it in, only addressing the issue one year later. At that point, everyone else considers a scribe to be a lazy and stupid individual. They don't let customers know about specific caveats until it's too late (the video call not working on the mobile app and that you HAVE to have a computer and they only test the BARE BONES labs for the baseline visit, no matter how much you ask for labs like thyroid). They make cancellation almost impossible for customers. Because hey, if it takes 10 days to respond to a request, that's free money. Lack of staff that they choose to ignore until it literally is impossible to do anything. There is no oversight. You have a manager in name only. I don't even know them because they never spoke to me ONCE. Bad service means unhappy customers. And unhappy customers means you get yelled over the phone a lot. Have fun. They legitimately stated in their documents that they won't increase pay and that you're free to look for a secondary job on top of this one. But despite being a contractor, your schedule is still assigned AND if you change your schedule (like removing a shift to make room for that 2nd job), it reflects in your next set of shifts. Cult-like persona. Upper management will all chirp and laugh in the same way. If the CEO commands you to bark, you howl. They say how it's a company meant to provide free/cheap healthcare. But on the other side, they legitimately spent a lot of money to make a expensive hotel room for a TV show. Look you "Amanza Smith Shows the Most Expensive Stay in America" under their YouTube account. Read their profile on trustpilot for more.
