      Great for those who fundamentally want to spend their waking hours changing the wold & are willing to put in the effort. * The vision is audacious & world-changing - truly centered on changing the world for the better * Teammates are the smartest, kindest, most passionate, mission-driven group anywhere. No office politics or infighting - everyone cares about the mission 1st & foremost * This is a place to do your life's work - There is no end to the work to be done, the challenges to surmount, or the impact you can have It's not for everyone, but if the above sound appealing, there *is no better place* for you.

      This is not the place for you if: * You want an easy job * You care more about yourself than the mission (e.g. you want a lot of $$$, a fancy title, a comfortable lifestyle, etc) * You want to ride a startup rocket ship to cash out & retire when it goes public

      Forward is a once-in-a-lifetime job. It's incredibly rare to find a company with: * Amazing mission (the world's best healthcare for billions of people, for free) * Amazing vision (rebuild healthcare as a product, not a labor service) * Amazing teammates Forward has them all. And we are at a defining moment in our vision. At a defining time in tech history, given the progress in artificial intelligence. This is the sort of job that defines a career, and gives those of us who are here a sense of meaning.

      Cons

      Forward is not for everyone. In particular, the cons are: * We work extremely hard * We are in the office 5 days a week * We don't have a lot of "frills" We prioritize our mission, and are pretty willing to trade things off in service of that mission. So it's not for everyone, at every time of their career. But if you want to apply your talent to an amazing mission, this is the place.
