      Reinventing Primary Care for Patients and Clinicians

      Pros

      There is a major focus on addressing the fundamental problems with how medicine is delivered, not only from the patient perspective but also from the provider/clinician perspective. I get a lot of time to spend with my patients and do not feel like I'm constantly behind. My opinion matters and the management really wants to hear and respond to my feedback

      Rapidly evolving company: requires some adaptability and flexibility to be a team player and help everyone succeed

      * Get a chance to work towards a central mission that is incredibly motivating * See the effect of your effect immediately with members and with the care team * Fast paced and lots of responsibility early on * Everyone is incredibly supportive and willing to teach others

      *Strong leadership -- culture of transparency, investment in personal development *Mission focused organization -- Rare opportunity to build a fully integrated health system from first principles. *Awesome work culture -- very smart, capable colleagues who I enjoy working with *Personal Growth -- opportunities to develop/learn additional skills and own projects *Fast paced innovation -- physicians are involved from the very beginning. This is a breath of fresh air from the slow pace of traditional and academic medicine.

      Cons

      *We are not immune to primary care physician shortage -- challenging to hire fast enough to keep up with growth *EMR not fully optimized yet --- homegrown EMR built to specification of physicians’ clinical needs, though does not have all bells of whistles more mature EMRs
