      Pros

      * Amazing mission... so easy to get out of bed in the morning for. * Incredible team, talented and really impact oriented. * Strong culture, optimizes for engineers and doctors to build side by side. * Product makes a LOT of sense. Seems obvious in retrospect. I think Forward is really likely to succeed. * Pretty interesting technical challenges... medicine is complicated.

      Cons

      * Company has deep startup DNA: fast pace, intense, demanding. Requires employees to manage their lives to avoid getting sucked in

      Pros

      - A mission that gets you excited to go to work in the morning. A truly different approach to solving an enormous problem - World-class talent across engineering, product, design, clinical, marketing, etc. - Lots of buzz and excitement, great press, growing traction, and superstar investor pedigree behind the company - Commitment to healthcare equality and a greater social mission (sponsored member program) - Ability to make a huge difference and learn from other disciplines, i.e. physicians learning how silicon valley-style product and engineering orgs work; engineers learning to think like physicians - Genuinely great human beings who care about Forward's members and each other - Product & service is fantastic and improving at rapid pace - Minimal BS / entanglement with old-school legacy healthcare stuff; truly rebuilding system from scratch - CEO with a compelling vision and amazing product instincts

      Cons

      - Changing a multi-trillion dollar industry is not a 9 to 5 job

      Pros

      Fantastic mission - couldn't ask for one better Fantastic team - everyone's smart, committed, and mission-oriented Transparency is top notch. Everyone from the top town truly believes in it. The leadership team marches to the same tune.

      Cons

      Like a lot of startups, work-life balance is often tough. Though as we grow it's made a lot of progress. Definitely had some growing pains, but the company uses a lot of surveys and anonymous feedback forms to learn about them and improve.
