Pros

Booming company with lots of opportunity if you work hard. Great philosophies and orientation motivation. They are constantly expanding and promoting within. Small family feel with big company backing.

Cons

Based in an Arizona market, with no sense of accommodating to the current scene. There are a lot of "know it alls" and mentality of their way being the best and only way. They tend to judge and belittle newer people coming in. The home office is filled with a great team but unfortunately there are quite a lot of bad apples with bad attitudes.

The training is thorough, and the regional director spent an ample amount of time with me throughout the process.

Cons

I was scheduled BOH training shifts on the busiest days of the week. This made it difficult, as I had to step aside for most of the shift and observe rather than be hands-on.

Pros

Fox is one of those rare companies that runs like a machine, but feels like a family. They hate the word "corporate" but don't lack systems & organization, like most smaller mom & pop operations; it's the best of both worlds. To ice the cake: their hiring strategy is to hire great people from other concepts & pay them what they're worth, so the pay is great & the quality of the managers tends to be much higher than I've seen at other concepts.

Cons

Shifts are 11 hours minimum, which is a bit longer than the industry average. If you have any kind of commute, this can turn into a pretty long day. That said, if this scares you you're probably in the wrong industry to begin with.
