      Pros

      Fast paced and competitive industry, paid weekly.

      Cons

      Incredibly long hours with little compensation. 70 hour workweeks not uncommon. Chinese overtime. Poor trucks and working conditions. No breaks. Negative, lazy leadership. No commission. Performance pay based on ridiculous numbers based on previous year.

      Pros

      Pay, benefits, very easy job if you’re not daft. If you have an experienced/realistic manager it’s a phenomenal job.

      Cons

      The new wave of management training is recruiting young people from college with BA’s in “business” and no work experience worth speaking of. If you get one of these world changers they will micromanage every part of your business.

      Pros

      Don’t see my manager until the end of the day, maybe. Compensation is ok, but was a lot better before pay plan change. Benefits package is very good.

      Cons

      DSL, ZBM, ZSL, KAM (all are managers at Frito Lay) and the manufacturing facility all add products to your orders to be sold. When they don’t sell, even though you didn’t request the products, you are held entirely financially responsible. No accountability of the managers that set the plan you numbers you are told to meet. As a group after finding out we were getting a 25% or more reduction in our pay, we were told if we didn’t like it we could quit.
