Pros

This company has a good work culture with many corporate sponsored events/outings (pre-pandemic). People like working here and the in-office atmosphere is a positive one

Cons

There has been some executive turmoil over the last 3 years. In the IT division, the company can't seem to make up its mind what it wants to be or do. It's a mostly reactive organization that scrambles to keep up with technologies, doesn't plan and execute projects well, and basically just shoots from the hip. The exception is the IT/Cybersecurity organization. This team is out front, ahead of the game, and seems to get what it wants and needs

Pros

It was great working with peers, that weren't management. They have a pension plan where they deposit 17.5% of your yearly income in a Vanguard account. They do this each year. As a nurse, I was making $69,500 per year, so they were depositing about $12,000 per year.

Cons

The management team really needs to listen to the staff. They have a bad habit of thinking they know what's best for employees and the company, but none of them have ever worked the true jobs within the company. If you get on their bad side, they will do whatever they can to make your life miserable, until you quit. They also have 1 manager there that is constantly looking for any affair she can have, even though she's married, and will end up causing a bunch of trouble for the employee that she sleeps with.
