      Pros

      Decent wage, interesting work on an import vehicle (Stryker). Congenial and knowledgeable coworkers within GD.

      Cons

      Reactive not proactive, unprofessional office management. Required to work 50 hrs/week with straight time over 40 hrs. Aberdeen Proving Ground has its own rules for success, strangest working environment I've ever experienced. Nepotism rules. Alcohol and drug abuse common. My engineering degree was actually a disadvantage.

      You know what is expected of you, you are trained continually, the company wants to excel, nice management, good working conditions

      Cons

      The only challenge is when defense budgets are cut you must migrate to Michigan
