      Stable company with exceptional product to support the warfigher.

      There are negatives with any position, however it is what we make of it that impacts the future.

      Not an ideal place for minority women

      Nice holiday party. Competivie benefits package.

      Cons

      Not a progressive company. A white male dominant environment with no career advancement for minority woemen. Promotions based on longevity and not experience, talent, & education. Flex schedule not really flexible. 9/80 schedule is a very long day with no work from home option. No performance based bonus sturcture. Directors and Mangers give bonuses to their favorites.

      Pros

      You know that you make a difference to troops and their families with life saving vehicles. The pay is very good.

      Cons

      The management did not have a long-term plan for the company. The decline of MRAP sales spelled the death of Force Protection as a stand-alone company and mass layoffs with the takeover by General Dynamics. The new management team from General Dynamics is very cliquish. If you're not in the social loop, you get left behind.
