Pros

Overall great company for a large corporation. I have worked for one other large corporation and it was not good. General Mills truly had a team culture from the top down to the shop floor. Ideas are given due consideration and the compensation package is outstanding. A lot of the package is tied directly to your performance but it is done quite fairly.

Cons

Nothing that is worth putting in writing.

Pros

Great senior leaders that provide clear business priorities and strategies Strong diversity across all levels Strong for resume and highly coveted by companies looking for strong marketing talent General management training ground Fun culture Very competitive total compensation the longer you work there. It makes it difficult to leave because other companies can't match the total compensation structure.

Cons

The two biggest cons of working at General Mills are its slow career progress and the passive aggressive meeting culture. The slow career progression leads to the loss of some strong talent and frustration. The passive aggressive culture sometimes leads to difficulty in driving innovation.
