Pros

None I can think of

Cons

1. Beware of putting any feedback in their so called feedback collection tool called “ Amber” . They claim that it would be confidential and non- retaliatory however it is not. Also there is no action on the feedback. They would make your life hell. 2. Very Poor Management. Don’t you ever dare to question your manager , you are done. 3. I have never seen more useless HR in any of the company. They will just repeat , what your manager is saying. 4. Full of people who just talk and do nothing, only such people are promoted. 5. It’s not a company for technology people, If you are a technologist , you would be considered a second grade citizen. Only people managers thrive. 6. Very poor compensation and appraisals. 7. They lie to customers in RFP, I have seen many RFP where they say , we have developed these tools however these tools even do not exist in the company.

Pros

Benefits are comparable to most large companies.

Cons

Genpact is a very disorgranized and choatic company to work for. There is a common pratice accross the verticals of businesses, of taking all processes, no matter how well they are already working or not working, and over complicating them. There is little knowledge of what is done, the higher up you go in managemet. Comunication is very poor. Promotions are made purely on a personal basis, not on abilities, work history, knowledge, or work performance. The Upper management is also extremly dishonest and unethical, in a number of ways. Work load and work/ life balance, is extremely out of balance. After the aquisition by Genpact, the company lost excessive business and great employees. Getting answers or assistance to basic questions or troubleshooting for Benefits, IT, HR, Payroll, etc is nearly impossible. I would not recommend this company to any of my friends, family, or aquaintances.

Pros

Health Insurance was good, that’s about it.

Cons

The company is full of bullies and harassment is widely overlooked. There is not structure, and no guarantee you’ll be keeping your job. They let a lot of people go because they did not meet accuracy standards, but the policies and training are extremely subpar! I worked here for about 6 months, what kept me going for that long was the pay and that’s it...and then at one point it just wasn’t enough to keep me in such a barbaric environment.
