HR is pretty much silent on how employees are treated. Grown adults being treated like children. For example, requiring people to swipe their badge every morning on in-office days like some type of clock-in system or requiring senior management sign off if someone needs to work from home on an in-office day...

Performance reviews are entirely subjective. If your manager does not like you or has a certain perception of you, expect negative reviews that do not reflect your actual performance.
