Pros

GPJ has a great mix of friendly, diverse, hard working people. They work hard, play hard. If you stay with GPJ the benefits are excellent, healthcare and esop can't be beat. They use a lot of freelance/contract workers and treat them like regular employees.

Cons

You have to leave to move up in salary significantly even with a title change. Hard to work just 40 hours per week which stinks if you are salary... great if you are a contractor.

Pros

Great work life balance, ability to work from home when needed - flexibility when you are on the road. Many times you will be allotted free days of PTO if you have been overloaded with work or have been traveling. Good experience learning project management skills, working with well known fortune 500 companies - looks good on a resume. You have the opportunity to work on a variety of different projects and are given a say-so on what you work on.

Cons

The staff is horribly under paid considering the amount of work you put in. The "bonuses" and "raises" are essentially non-existent. There are people on staff who have worked for the company 10+ years and have only gotten pay raises 2-3 times. There are a lot of politics that come into play when it comes to who is promoted, it's not necessarily based off performance. It's almost not worth it to get promoted because you will get 5X the work with a VERY minimal pay increase. There's not a lot of room to grow with the company.
