Pros

Girl Scouts is an amazing cause - but its not changing fast enough to maintain relevancy. While they are trying desperately their members hold not the key - not the staff.

Cons

Don't stay long - you won't grow.

Pros

Flexible Schedule Good Pay for Non for Profit Own office Great Coworkers

Cons

Always seems like we are putting out fires Little direction until after the fact Yes there is flex time....if you have time to use it! Get stuck doing other departments jobs Management wastes lots of time and money on unnecessary personal development training Lots of "passing the buck" Lots of "feelings" High Stress Down Time is filled with time wasting tasks doing other peoples work Management is out of touch and then some Staff does not trust managers Volunteers are not treated well You will do things that are not remotely in your job description Very little room for advancement unless you want to make a major move

Pros

They have good benefits and you get to meet some really nice volunteer.

Cons

I worked for this organization for a number of years; I've watch the CEO, CFO and the HR department treat the employees like slaves and belittle employees in front of other employees. The will making people choose between own children and the organization. I’ve heard the CEO, CFO say negative things about some of the employees and has even lied them. If you have a complaint you can’t go to the HR because they will dismiss you. This organization is not about girl power because they treat the women of the organization poorly.
