Pros

GitLab's the only company I've worked at where "what you see is what you get". They really, really do live out their values and seem to genuinely care about work-life balance.

Cons

Full remote is not for everyone. The support engineer role also has on-cal rotations, which can be huge source or stress for those not used to that.

Pros

Flexibility Autonomy Excellent salary Full of lovely people

Cons

Not many opportunities to meet with team members if you are very remote. Work from home lifestyle is not for everyone (it certainly is for me though).

Pros

Extensive belief from all levels to supporting the "all-remote" work style, including a strong focus on work-life balance.

Cons

All-remote can lead to a longer onboarding than you would normally expect (but GitLab does support you through this process).
