Pros

Individual managers can be fantastic but are held back by the company as a whole

Cons

poor communication between teams, deceptive communications from HR obscuring cuts to benefits, resistance to individuals trying to improve processes, a culture that cares more about avoiding blame than fixing problems. a CEO that cares more about share price than employee wellbeing

Pros

It would be a great place to work had they not invested in India body shops like bitwise.

Cons

Global Payments heavily invested in a completely incompetent offshore team. To maintain the facade that an offshore team is a good idea, managers constantly abuse the salaried status of full time US workers for free over time and weekend work. This is required because the quality of India team's work is so horrendously poor, late and fundamentally unstable. Business does not care about employee long term mental or physical well being and the mentality is towards stock growth.

Pros

They are desperate for people, so it is probably fairly easy to get hired on now. If you can work independently and figure things out on your own, this may be the place for you. Don't expect a lot of training because many departments are too short staffed and have little collective knowledge left. The company is trying to modernize the issuing business, so there is opportunity for young, fresh out of college talent.

Cons

Nearly all development is being run by cheap foreign and contract labor that no longer know the business, corporate culture, or care about the clients. There is no loyalty from this new labor force and turnover is horrendous. Many forced and early retirements due to pandemic have left most departments without very many (or any)subject matter experts.
