Capable team members with good pedigree and technical competencies. Gives performing individuals freedom to take higher responsibilities. forward looking leadership. Has found a niche in the Outsourced Product Development space. If someone has a knack for putting in processes and focus on high end quality work, he/she can thrive. Survived the 2008 melt down and eventually did better!

Cons

Needed many more processes across departments - HR, IT, Quality. While the people where great, there can be more capability development.

Knowledge of a new product (might not hold valid if you've already worked for something superior in same category)

Politics - Invisible teams working to highlight their goods first and then, the work done Favourism - Nothing worst when your boss doesn't look beyond the capabilities of his/her favorites and make them the benchmarks of judging the new entrant. If haven't experienced this yet, try Globallogic at your own risk. Stuck to older ways,not encouraging people to try and learn for professional development - Organization doesn't care for the overall personal or professional development of the employees. Their say is "quick learners and productive people are suitable" is actually good way to showcase their poor management skills and how bad is their employee engagement.
