Pros

Started off really great, Was treated with respect as a freelance part-time employee. Communication was easy and smooth....until the last couple of months.

Cons

I was working a steady 15-30 hours a week with GoodRx and one week they stopped giving me work and stopped being responsive. I had to continuously ask if there was work and kept getting the answer "it may be slow this week". Slowly they started taking off of project management sites, again, without any clear communication. I was told I was going to be taken off the company email, just beacuse they are "simplifying". I was committed to working part-time hours and was receiving stable part-time income. I felt very disrespected as I was not communicated to about my position no longer being needed, as I slowly got more and more into debt from lack of communication and a month of no work. I started out at GoodRx very excited and happy to be part of the company, telling family friends all the great things. Unfortunately ended with a sour taste in my mouth and would not recommend anyone support the company any longer.

Thank you for your feedback, as we strive to learn from all employee and candidate experiences. I find the claims regarding the mishandling of data false and comments about the company going under also incorrect but appreciate the concern. I would be happy to discuss with you how we maintain user data in a legally compliant manner as well as encourage you to approach the CEOs to further address your concerns.

Pros

This company will seem great at the outset, however, by the time you hit a year mark, you’re likely it realize GoodRx has the same issues as any male and white dominated company has. Poor leadership, disconnect and miscommunication between teams, repetitive work and being asked to go above and beyond without adequate management or support. White mediocrity is celebrated while diversity is only a value on paperwork, and you’ll be asked to do work you’ll be neither supported in nor described on your original listed role expectations. You’ll slowly realize this company is a neoliberal bandage on a capitalist problem and that you and all your minority coworkers are getting lowballed while your employer can pay itself on the back for diverse hiring . HR is ignorant and useless and your manager probably hates their self and the role theyre in along with your team lead. Good luck!

Cons

Same issues you’ll encounter at literally every startup
