Thank you for your candid feedback. We believe our curriculum provides the best liberal arts classical education focused on character education and great books. We acknowledge that there are always areas of improvement for Great Hearts, including with our business operations teams. As with any leadership role, the leadership competencies at Great Hearts are broad in scope, and growth can come with challenges. That broad scope is challenging for any one person to balance, but the network invests fully in leadership development and also utilizes surveys to help leaders develop a greater awareness for the areas of growth and improvement. Thanks again for the feedback. We will share with our leadership team.

Thank you for sharing your concerns. We believe the best for our students includes having the best faculty working with our students and parents. We believe our curriculum provides the best liberal arts classical education focused on character education and great books. We have worked to improve our salary schedules across our networks. Great Hearts does provide excellent benefits (medical, dental, etc.), with employee premiums that are significantly below the national and regional averages. As of the 2024-2025 school year, we have increased the salaries of our current and new teachers. We will look at our benefits package to look for areas to continue to improve. We will continue to work to improve salaries again for the 2025-2026 school year. We know with the rising cost of living, it is important that we make sure our teachers get the very best. We have recently updated our salary schedules again for the incoming 2025-2026 school year to improve the compensation package for our teachers in order to remain more competitive to local district schools.

Pros

If s nothing special, no real pros, just another teaching job.

Cons

No admin support, extremely high turn over rate that results in instability. Admin takes no accountability and will throw anyone under the bus. It’s ridiculous. No advancement

Thank you for your feedback. Great Hearts does provide excellent benefits (medical, dental, etc.), with employee premiums that are significantly below the national and regional averages. As of the 2024-2025 school year, we have increased the salaries of our current and new teachers. We will look at our benefits package to look for areas to continue to improve. We acknowledge that there are always areas of improvement for Great Hearts, including retention and recruitment of experienced and highly competent administrators. As with any school leadership role, the leadership competencies at Great Hearts are broad in scope, and in addition, we value leaders who bring the classical liberal arts vision to bear on the culture and community. That broad scope is challenging for any one person to balance, but the network invests fully in leadership development and also utilizes faculty and family surveys to help leaders develop a greater awareness for the areas of growth. Moreover, the majority of our leadership and administration team started as Great Hearts teachers. As our network continues to expand and grows, we train and promote our teachers interested in leadership positions. So advancement of our teachers is something we truly support and believe in.
