Accountability

Pros

Decent insurance, medical and dental. Decent paycheck if you can keep your job.

Cons

The Union is very weak, the company is a bully. Middle management needs to be held more accountable as some of their people play video games and read books while the rest work, even after being told about it in lesser terms. Middle management breaks company and Union rules all the time and no one will report in fear of retribution from said management. Lay offs and furloughs, hiring people then firing one day before they complete probation so Greenheck won't have to pay benefits. I watched hard workers become low performers because supervisors didn't like them, treated them badly, and someone who would run 120% willingly now makes the bare minimum the company will accept out of spite to managent. I don't believe poor supervisors are disciplined properly by upper management at all.

A real engineering degree not worth the effort. Go to Stout instead.

Pros

A locally owned company that continually reinvests into its people and business.

Cons

Future engineers shouldn't bother getting a real engineering degree. Instead go to Stout and get the engineering technology degree. Greenheck treats these degrees equal in pay and status.

Thank you for writing a review, we appreciate you taking the time. We have been doing a great job at reinvesting in our people and business, including recent expansions and training programs. As far as the engineering degrees, we do check to see if engineering degrees at each school we recruit/hire from are ABET Accredited. ABET accreditation provides assurance that a college or university program meets the quality standards of the profession for which that program prepares graduates. If you'd like more information, you can look at the ABET Accreditation website here: http://www.abet.org/accreditation/. Based on our research, and the accreditation of the engineering technology degree from Stout, their engineering technology degree meets the standards required to be considered a "real" engineering degree. If you have any other specific feedback, feel free to reach out to me at hr@greenheck.com. Thank you, Sammi HR Generalist

Pros

Do honor Military Veterans and handout gifts to all employees during the holidays.

Cons

If they want you out of the company, regardless of the reason, they will absolutely find a way to fire you. Always watch your back.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. Greenheck does a great job giving back to the community, honoring Military Veterans, and providing holiday gifts to employees. We have policies that we hold our employees to, and I am sad to hear you feel employees need to watch their backs. We have great employees here that work hard, and we like to have fun as well. I hope many of our employees feel appreciated for their hard work. Thanks again, Sammi HR Generalist
