Pros

Members. Watching them thrive with their recovery journey. Some coworkers and really nothing else.

Cons

They push and repeat harm reduction yet they do more harm than good. Almost all offices are closed on Fridays and the did away with the team that helped the members with issues. So members now get to go all weekend without medication due to an error caused by staff. That is setting a member up for failure. Without medication these members experience withdrawal, relapse, and even overdose just trying to not be ill. That is NOT harm reduction.

Pros

-Wellnessdays. -Generous PTO. -Four day work week. - Care team was full of great people, supervisor was great -Gain great experience running telehealth group sessions.

Cons

-Path for counselors to advance within the company is limited. -High caseload over 100 clients -Large percentage of counseling work force is on vacation, or calling out on a daily basis. People who show up are covering for their work, adding to caseload, and burnout. -Changes to SOP and workflows roll out rapidly, corporate management says this is to make care teams job easier when a lot of these changes are in the name of saving money. -No boundaries with members, they can do whatever they want and remain in compliance with the program. Resulting in many clients learning that they only need to to come to one group per month and submit 1 UDS per month. No camera required. This policy caused counselor to talk to black screen numerous times, with most clients calling into zoom groups with a phone line. Unacceptable. This should never happen. Seemed concerns over this were never taken seriously.
