Pros

Gustave A. Larson is a great place to work. From day 1 I have been thoroughly impressed. They have police's and procedures in place to take care of customers and employee's. From the owners down to the branches. I have seen nothing but the up most professionalism. All companies say they want to take care of employees and customers. Gustave A. Larson really does!

Cons

No cons about working for Gustave A. Larson, great company!

Pros

Steady work due to being severely understaffed. Management is arrogant and more concerned about their own agenda. Failure to lead a team in a positive manner.

Cons

Low pay, minimal raises do not meet cost of living. The Larson Family Values means The Larson Families Values, not their employees.

Gustave A. Larson Company Response

Thank you for your review, and for the positive acknowledgement that we have hard working employees. As a family-owned business, we strive to ensure that our employees have a positive work ethic and live our values. Regarding your concerns with upper management and communication, we are sorry you felt that way while on our team. The owners are still very much engaged with the company, although some employees may not see that on a daily basis with our large geographical footprint. As an example, they lead frequent communications on the pandemic and the state of the company through videos, virtual all-employee meetings, emails and website content. We apologize if you do not feel they did enough to communicate the company’s direction, and wish you well for your future career.
