Pros

I was a receptionist for the 2014 tax season. Great seasonal position. Overall it was easy going, but I had a horrible manager so I basically trained myself. My coworkers were mostly retired. All wonderful and supportive individuals who did their best to help me since I was new. We all had a fun time working and helping clients, especially when our manager wasn't there to dictate out every move and steal all the new clients for herself.

Cons

I would have given my experience 5 stars, but my office manager ruined it for me. She was the worst "boss" I have ever had. Unreasonable, hypocritical, abrasive, and the list goes on. I eventually confronted her and she acted innocent, kid of blowing it off. I sucked it up until the end of the season and just did my best.
