Pros

Flexible schedule. Good training, some of which is paid. Opportunity for advancement. Great coworkers. Nice work environment. Supportive supervisors/managers. Interesting and challenging work. Great place to gain some experience or make extra money if you have another job. Managers work year round.

Cons

Notice how I didn't list compensation as one of the pros? Unless you're an EA, CPA or attorney the commission isn't great. You really need repeat clients with complex tax issues to make much money.
