Pros

This review is based on HCVT Fort Worth office. Great company to work for if you are working for the offices located in California. HCVT pays overtime and the hours are flexible.

Cons

To enhance your career in Texas office you have to be a favorite of a manager or a partner. No matter how hard you work, your work will not be appreciated if you are not in a good relationship with a manager or up. There is no 401k match, health benefit is average.

Pros

Get paid OT at 1.5. Great outlook. Receive promotions fast if you kiss up. Tuition reimbursement, CPA bonus.

Cons

Although not big as the big four, politics are definitely like big four. Everyone above you acts like they own you. Training could be better. Almost have to be kissing up to the partners for continous promotions. Partners are from big four, that is why the culture at the firm is of the big four. The firm advertises "people" but really the people are all the same. The busy season could get really bad with the hours depending on your office location. Health insurance is terrible. PTO is very low for 1-5 year employees. Managers do not think for themselves and want staff to their job for them. There is an absence of communication, especially between 1-2 year staff and managers. Low salary but with OT equal out to market.
