I met some great people. However, I did not get a chance to work with them in the tax department. They have great committees and resources, like tax templates.
Cons
One of the most unorganized places I’ve ever worked at. Every partner is a silo and does things differently. They throw a bunch of tasks and tools at staff and expect them to figure it out with minimal explanation. Then managers/partners complain when the work product is worse than expected. They do not use any workflow tool, which is surprising at such a large company. Without proper communication, moving work around is done exclusively through email, which can be extremely confusing. They are very focused on your billable hours and receive daily reports in order to monitor you. This firm operates on fear, and they let people go when they can’t measure up quickly enough. This is not a firm that fosters growth or promotes team culture.
