Pros

- met some amazingly hard working people - amazing office parties - fun Fridays and efforts to engage the employees

Cons

I started off at HackerEarth with a-lot of excitement as i had heard amazing stuff about them. With time I observed multiple of things that were falling apart. My team consisted of more than 20 boys and we were around 3-4 girls. The manager was biased. He would prefer training the boys over us as he believed that women came with a-lot of other commitments apart from work. At one point he completely stopped giving is leads. Our current leads were assigned to the male account managers. Only they received all the training. While confronting the manager about this, he would emotionally manipulate as because we were girls. He would always bring in the trust factor and put us into the guilt loophole. It was so bad that it was affecting us mentally. We tried voicing this to the boys in the team but all they did was laugh at us. They never cared. Anxiety and depression due to work felt normal which was extremely sad. Even our targets, girls were put in PIP for not meeting their call targets but guys easily got away with it. All they would get is a warning which honestly never mattered. Work hours: any startup follows a 9-5 work hour timing. Exactly this was communicated to us during our interviews but then we had to start our day at 8 am which was fine with us. The problem was the fact that our manager expected us to work for 12 hours. The disappointment was clearly shown on his face if we did not follow it. Note: the boys did not go through this. HR: The HR team at HackerEarth is the real reason behind as to why HRs are made fun of around the world. All they want to do is sit at their desks, laugh and gossip about everyother employee. Infact, they meet on weekends to discuss the lives of other employees no matter how much in drain their lives are. Same goes to the HR director. I remember my female colleague going to her to discuss the mental problems she was facing with the management of our manager. She claimed to be extremely understanding and sad about that fact that the employees were going through such emotional trauma but never spoke about it with the leadership team or the concerned members. The false promises will never be forgotten. The emotional trauma will never be forgotten. Please don’t even think of joining the international sales team if you are a girl.

Pros

Company culture is good almost.

Cons

No scope for women's. only they give an opportunity to boys to grow. At the that they will make you frustrate for 24/7 work. Simply copy paste work no skills to grow. Alot of partiality between favorite person and non favorite. Damm if you don't want your personal life time and don't want to learn anything new then you can join.
