Pros

Commission was easy to get to when busy. Free classes. Fun people to work with depending on the salon. Paid lunch. Paid every two weeks if you made commission or not.

Cons

Minimum insurance. Drive to go to free classes. No matter how long you work there you will always be at minimum wage unless you make commission. Company to focus on people making commission. They push people to sale retail. No breaks when busy.

Pros

Great place to start especially out of beauty school they have free classes that teach you new techniques!!! It is easy to move up but you must be a hard worker. I went from making 45% in commission to 50% in a year.

Cons

If it is busy you never get a break to eat, use the bathroom, or anything else. Sometimes working with all women can be bad because you get a lot of attitudes and laziness sets in.

Pros

The free education is great, as is the dental and vision insurance. They have programs to help you in certain life situations. They give you good discounts on products.

Cons

You don't get breaks if there are clients waiting even if you have already been there for 8 hours. They don't do anything about employee concerns with co-workers or management. Health insurance is almost non-existent. The leaders do not lead they tell you to do things that they themselves don't do. They allow employees to continue to work there even of they disrupt the working environment with all the other employees. They think that it's okay to reprimand you for the smallest thing in front of clients on the salon floor.
